About LCOA

Livingston Council on Aging has been providing services and aid to the senior citizens of Livingston Parish since 1973. In that time, we have grown to five meal sites throughout the parish to better serve the growing population. Some of the services that are provided are transportation, congregate meals, delivered meals, chore service, in-home respite, nutritional education, wellness programs, material aid, and legal services through Southeastern Louisiana legal services.

December 3 - Informational Meet and Greet Luncheon with Speaker presented by SALT. Organizations that will be represented: RSVP, Foster Grandparents, Council on Aging, Humana, Elderly Protective Services and many others. Beginning at 9:30am; Hosted at the South Walker Meal Site with attendance from Port Vincent Meal Site. For information on attendance call either meal site.

December 7 - Pearl Harbor Day

December 9 - Christmas Card Day - Send out your Xmas and Holiday greetings...

December 12 - Dance at the Denham Springs Meal Site. Call DS Meal site for additional details.

December 21 - Winter Solstice

The band will present Live Classic Country and Gospel music at a different Livingston Council on Aging Meal Site each week on a monthly schedule below:
